Drexel University is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient flow and perform clinical and clerical duties within the practice. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing patient records, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates should possess a medical assistant certification, BLS certification, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The Certified Medical Assistant will function as a comprehensive staff member in the practice and perform all clinical and clerical functions relating to that practice, including but not limited to coordinating the flow of patient visits, vital signs, blood draws, diagnostic testing, patient interview, review of medical records, assisting physicians, administration of medications/vaccines, dressings and other therapies, telephone/website portal management, supply management, basic equipment maintenance, patient insurance, referral and charging management.
Student Health Center hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-5pm, and Tuesday and Thursday 10am-7pm.
