Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs and perform routine patient intake, documenting appropriately.
- Direct patient flow and assist staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Document patient history, treatments, and administered medications accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the provider following PCC policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and report pertinent patient information to the nurse.
- Update providers on changes affecting patient care or flow.
- Perform laboratory and diagnostic tests as ordered.
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and order supplies under supervision.
- Conduct quality control on medical equipment and diagnostic tests.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Follow PCC policies, safety practices, and customer service guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Administrator.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program (required).
- Previous clinical experience (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification and CPR card (required).
Physical Demands
- Ability to remain stationary and move around the clinic as needed.
- Operate office equipment and transport objects up to 10 pounds.
- Cover shifts and participate in shift rotations.

- Proficient in English communication.

- Team-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
