This is a medical and diagnostic facility located in Glendale, Queens. Currently, we are seeking a Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2 years of experience. The candidate must be a great team player, possess excellent communication skills, be able to MULTI-TASK, organized, and detail-oriented. This office is completely paperless, so the candidate must be computer savvy.

Bilingual: SPANISH speaking is a PLUS!

EMR: Tebra (formerly Kareo)

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Recording patient’s vital signs (e.g., Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respiratory Rate, Height, Weight, etc.)
2. Recording patient’s full medical history and reason for each visit
3. Performing diagnostic tests such as:

• EKG
• Blood Draw
• Centrifuge
• Spirometry
• Urinalysis
• Nebulizer Treatments

Cleaning and preparing exam rooms for patients

Maintaining inventory of all medical supplies and ensuring exam rooms are stocked

Preparing patients for necessary procedures

Preparing all necessary documents prior to the visit (labs, radiology, and pathology reports)

Assisting with front desk duties when needed (answering calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, providing referrals, assisting with prior authorizations)

Maintaining proper communication with all physicians
