Job summary

Yoh Services LLC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant for a contract opportunity at our primary care clinic. The CMA should be proficient with EPIC and experienced in phlebotomy, holding a National Medical Assistant Certification. BLS is required on hire.

Hours include four 9-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift, with a 10/5-12/27 duration and potential extension. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, records data.
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination.

• Operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment.
• Provides injections or treatments and performs routine labs.
• Schedules appointments and follow-up calls.
• Performs admin tasks at front desk and maintains charts.
• Data-entry into clinic systems.

Job description

Medical Assistantneeded for a contractopportunity with Yoh’s primary care clinic in Milwaukee, WI. Seeking a CMA proficient in utilizing EPIC and experienced in phlebotomy.

**National Medical Assistant Certification is REQUIRED

Hours: four 9 hour shifts (730 am-5 pm) and one 4 hour shift (730 am-1130 am)

Duration:10/5-12/27 with possible extension or direct placement

Pay: $18-$25/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
• Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
• Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
• Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
• May require other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• National Medical Assistant Certification from one of the organizations below is required. Diploma or RMA (AMT) is not accepted.
