Responsibilities

• Support and maintain patient flow to reduce patient wait times during clinic
• Efficiently manage time by prioritizing each patient's needs
• Record and verify medical records such as medical histories, medication reconciliations, and vital signs
• Coordinate with hospital admissions and laboratory services
• Assist with diagnostic testing: EKGs, Stress Echos, Labs, Nuclear Medicine
• Assist clinic RN staff as needed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
