Role Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in providing medical care to patients of various ages.
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures.
• Perform initial screening and ongoing assessment of patients.
• Support compliance with hospital and practice policies, including meaningful use measures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of related work experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP (NRCMA), AMCA, or ARMA

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in healthcare communication and teamwork
