Sentara is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Hampton, VA to provide patient care and handle administrative duties. The role supports physicians, NP/PA, RN, or LPN, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced medical environment.

New grads welcome; up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 40 hours per week, with possible floating and mileage reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification required on hire: CMA, RMA, CCMA, or Certified EMT-B (first day)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as trained and delegated by clinicians.
• Provides safe and efficient patient care under supervision and adheres to department policies.
• Maintains accurate documentation and supports daily operations in a clinical setting.
