Sentara Health's SMG Family Medicine St. Lukes in Carrollton, VA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support patient care and clinic operations Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. New grads welcome.

The CMA collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver safe, efficient care, perform routine clinical tasks, and handle administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma OR equivalency required.
• Certification required on first day: CMA, RMA, CCMA, EMT-B.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks under supervision.
• Handle administrative/clerical duties as delegated.
• Support safe clinical operations and inter-departmental communication.
