Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a primary care clinic. You will work closely with providers, assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and help deliver excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, administering vaccines, performing phlebotomy and EKGs, documenting in the EMR, and supporting front‑office tasks while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards. A MA‑C and 2 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C)
• Graduate of an accredited MA program
• Minimum 2 years of experience (primary/urgent care preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days (if required)
• Strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skills
• EMR documentation experience
• CPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 days
• Reliable attendance, strong communication, and ability to multitask

• Document accurately in the EMR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards
• Participate in team huddles, training, and quality‑improvement activities
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork

Compensation Range

$23.00 to $34.50

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
