Job summary

Prime Healthcare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative duties at Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch, TX. The role involves taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, updating records, and coordinating appointments.

Location: Dallas Medical Center - Farmers Branch, TX

We are seeking aCertified Medical Assistant, also referred to as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Certified Medical Assistants will support both clinical and administrative tasks, such as taking vital signs, assistingwith procedures, updating patient records, and coordinating appointments. Medical Assistants will work under the supervision of physicians and nurses in a fast-paced environment, helping to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations and procedures
• Assistproviders with routine clinical procedures, treatments, and patient care needs
• Administer medications and injections aspermittedby certification and clinic policy
• Update patient records, document clinical information, andmaintainaccuratemedical histories
• Coordinate prescription refills, lab results, referrals, and follow-up appointment

Qualifications

1. Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.

2. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

3. Work experience in health care preferred.

4. Medical Assistant Certification.

5. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
