Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Contract: 3 months assignment with possible extension

Shift: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

PAY RATE: as per expectations and experience

What are the top responsibilities for this position (Please be as detailed as possible as to what tasks will be conducted on a daily basis):

• Assist physician and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patients care procedures.
• Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately.
• Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms.
• Coordinate patient care as directed by physician, company standards and policies.

Must have qualifications/experience: 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience in a medical setting.

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart:

• ICD-10 and CPT coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Type of certification required:

• High school graduate or GED
• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current CPR and or BLS certification.
