Job summary

Skin and Aesthetics Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology and cosmetic procedures in Burlington, NJ. This full-time role combines clinical tasks with patient-centered service in a fast-paced, high-end setting.

You will assist during exams and procedures, take vitals, manage EHR notes, and travel between practice locations as needed to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential.
• Preferred: dermatology or aesthetics experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual (preferred) and strong patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures.
• Take vital signs, review medical histories, and update patient charts in the EHR.
• Assist providers with procedures such as skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, suture removal, and aesthetic services (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments, injectables).
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following sterilization and safety protocols.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care.
• Support front desk operations as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Travel between assigned practice locations as needed to provide coverage.
• Deliver a concierge-level patient experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about skin health and aesthetics. You'll work closely with our providers to assist during general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, manage clinical flow, and contribute to a supportive, welcoming environment for both patients and team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential

• Previous experience in dermatology or aesthetics strongly preferred
