Qualifications

  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
  • Excellent patient service skills and compassionate care delivery.
  • Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
  • Support medical documentation efforts by accurately recording patient information in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and managing medical records with precision.
  • Assist with laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hospital standards.
  • Support value-based care initiatives by identifying and helping close patient quality gaps (screenings, immunizations, chronic disease management, etc.)"

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required.
