Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is searching for a Medical Assistant to join a busy Integrative Medicine office in Annapolis. The ideal candidate will have strong IV and Phlebotomy skills, good communication, and organizational abilities.

This full-time role includes responsibilities such as administering IVs, working in the lab for blood draws, and managing patient flow. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Basic IV experience of 2 years preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer IVs and nutrition booster shot injections.
• Work in lab; blood draws, processing samples.
• Manage patient flow in the treatment area.
• Record patient's vitals: temperature and blood pressure.
• Assist FNP and/or PA by gathering patient history.

Requirements / Responsibilities

• Administering IVs and Nutrition booster shot injections.
• Work in lab; blood draws, processing samples, logging data.
• Managing patient flow in the treatment area.
• Therapy application per Doctor's instructions and order (exercise, traction & home instruction).
• Take and record patient's vitals: temperature and blood pressure.
• Assisting in x-ray procedures, developing and copying.
• Checking, maintaining, ordering and restocking inventory of product and office supplies.
• Assist patients in Weight Loss Program with exercise form and technique.
• Maintain therapy area and treatment rooms.
• Assist FNP and/or PA - Gather patient history.
• Candidate would be required to complete Chiropractic Assistant Program (paid by company) and become licensed as a Chiropractic Assistant.
