Charter Senior Living of Fredericksburg is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician/Med Tech to support residents in our assisted living and memory care communities. Starting pay is between $20-$22 per hour and reflects the important role of medication administration and daily care in our senior living environment.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to helping residents maintain dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician/Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.
• CNA or direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote dignity, comfort and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
