Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide to join The Retreat at Lady's Island team. The role supports resident care, wellness visits, and medication administration, with schedule Mon-Fri and every other weekend.

Must be certified and have leadership capabilities, with experience in assisted living or dementia care preferred. The candidate will assist with PSPs, monitor vitals monthly, and communicate changes to supervisors to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements for medication aide.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify ongoing needs and services for residents through the PSP process.
• Ensure proper follow-through and documentation for changes in clinical care needs.
• Support the Wellness Nurse with completing monthly wellness visits and PSP updates.
• Inform Wellness Director/Executive Director of changes in medication or services that may affect tier level or move-out.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly before monthly wellness visits.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
