Vitality Living Island Retreat is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents under the health care provider’s orders. You will administer or assist with medications, monitor responses, and document changes in residents’ conditions.

This role requires CPR/First Aid certification, a state-approved Medication Technician credential, and at least 6 months of related experience. Strong communication in English is essential, and adherence to infection control is a must.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Medication Technician certification from a state-approved program.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Administers or assists with medication and treatments as per provider orders.
• Maintains the residents' records daily, including medication distribution and charting changes in condition.
• Maintains the medicine supply room and completes medication cart audits as directed.
• Provides direct resident care and observes residents for changes, reporting them promptly.
• Adheres to infection control policies and safety procedures.
