Job summary

Asbury Chandler Estates is seeking a medication assistant to support residents with daily living activities and to administer medications accurately. You will follow a strict verification process and maintain dignity and independence in care.

We offer generous benefits and a supportive team environment. The role is on-site with shifts including 7am-3:30pm or 11pm-7am with a $1.50 night differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus.
• 1 year experience or training with older adults or retirement housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
• Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
• Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
• Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
