Job summary

Asbury Grace Park is seeking a dedicated medication assistant to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. You will follow a strict 3-step verification process and ensure safe, accurate dosing while maintaining residents' dignity and independence.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medication Administration course is a plus, with 1 year of experience or training in care for older adults preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of Medication Administration course is a plus.
• 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in retirement housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
• Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
• Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
• Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
