Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program.
• Proven experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Prior experience in a med spa or occupational health setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service with the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
• Knowledge of hygiene best practices and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs.
• Learn new modalities within our Ayurvedic center.
• SHIATSU experience is a big plus alongside Swedish and deep tissue.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to tailor treatment plans.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure client comfort during sessions.
• Educate clients on self-care, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies.
• Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with privacy standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to health and safety regulations.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients\' specific needs
• We are an Ayurvedic center with doctors and hope to find someone who is willing to learn new modalities as well
• If you have SHIATSU experience in addition to Swedish and deep tissue that is a BIG +
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatment plans accordingly
• Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session
• Educate clients on self‑care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies
• Maintain detailed treatment records, including medical terminology and session notes, in compliance with privacy standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary
• Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a clean and safe environment
