Strategic Bodywork in Oakland is seeking skilled massage therapists to join a small, supportive team. Therapists provide deep tissue and orthopedic massages as part of a holistic wellness approach, with autonomy and opportunity to build lasting client relationships.

We're looking for a few skilled and motivated massage therapists to join our small, curated team. We're actively interviewing now.

Our studio, Strategic Bodywork, has been serving the Lake Merritt community in Oakland for over 15 years. We're proud to offer a supportive environment where therapists enjoy freedom, autonomy, and community.

Our studio blends the precision of a clinical practice with the care of a spa. While we welcome many modalities, every therapist here is proficient in deep tissue and orthopedic massage, helping clients work through injury and chronic pain, all grounded in a holistic approach to wellness.

We value clear, kind, and transparent communication - both with clients and each other - and we're intentional about finding the right fit for our close-knit team: someone who takes the therapeutic work seriously but also genuinely enjoys building relationships with clients.

Position Details

• W2 employee position
• Average pay: $36-42/hr + tips, depending on experience
• Paid time for shift prep, turnover, and a 10-minute break every 4 hours worked
• Shifts are 6 hours long, expectation is a minimum of 3 shifts per week
• Weekend availability required

Our beautiful studio is located on Grand Ave in a mixed-modality wellness building. You'll enjoy:

• 4 treatment rooms (two equipped with Ashiatsu bars), all with electric tables
