After 20 years with our practice, one of our longtime massage therapists is retiring - which means we have a pretty special spot to fill.

Turning Leaf Chiropractic is a busy, established family chiropractic and wellness practice in Lakeville. We're looking for a Certified Massage Therapist who wants more than a room to work in. We want someone who enjoys being part of a team, building relationships with patients and using massage as an important part of their overall health and wellness.

This isn't a spa massage position.

Our patients absolutely appreciate feeling relaxed after a massage - but that's not our primary goal.

We believe massage therapy can help people move better, recover, manage muscle tension and support their overall health. Our therapists have the freedom to use their training, experience and preferred techniques to determine what will best serve each individual patient.

We don't dictate a particular massage style or modality. We want a therapist who can assess the person in front of them and confidently provide and recommend care based on that patient's needs.

What the position looks like

This is an employee position averaging approximately 20 hours per week during varying weekday hours. Our therapists typically provide approximately 15–18 massage sessions per week, with 60-, 90- and 120-minute appointments available.

You’ll have your own treatment space and the freedom to practice massage in the way you believe best serves your patients - while also having chiropractors and other practitioners available for collaboration and support.

We provide the treatment room, equipment, supplies, linens, scheduling, front-desk support and general practice marketing.

Your responsibilities include providing massage therapy, completing patient notes, educating patients about the benefits of massage and appropriate ongoing care, encouraging rebooking when it would benefit the patient, and maintaining your treatment room and laundry at the end of your shift.

You’ll also need:

• Massage therapy certification
• Professional liability insurance
