Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Certified Locksmith to install, maintain, and secure high-security locking systems in classified facilities in Virginia.

The role requires substantial experience with mechanical and electronic locks, strict adherence to security protocols, and the ability to work within sensitive government environments.

Qualifications

• Certified Locksmith certification from a recognized body (ALOA, SAVTA, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of locksmith experience, preferably in government or high-security environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair high-security locking systems, safes, vaults, doors, and access control hardware.
• Service and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical locking devices.
• Perform lock rekeying, combination changes, and key control management per security directives.
• Support secure facility construction, renovation, and decommissioning projects.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with federal, agency, and intelligence community security standards.
• Maintain documentation of work performed, inventories, and access changes.
• Respond to emergency lockouts or security incidents as required.
• Coordinate with security officers, engineers, and facilities staff to resolve vulnerabilities.

As the Certified Locksmith, you will be installing, maintaining, repairing, and securing mechanical and electromechanical locking systems in high-security environments. This role requires exceptional technical skill, discretion, and strict adherence to security protocols to protect classified facilities, information, and personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Install, maintain, inspect, and repair high-security locking systems, safes, vaults, doors, and access control hardware

• Service and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical locking devices

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Certified Locksmith (e.g., ALOA, SAVTA, or equivalent recognized certification)

• Minimum 3 years of professional locksmith experience, preferably in government, military, or high-security environments
• Demonstrated experience with high-security locking systems and key control programs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
