100 Miami University is seeking a Lifeguard for the Aquatics Center Operations. The successful candidate will ensure a safe swimming environment, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies. Responsibilities include performing water rescues and administering first aid when necessary.

The ideal candidate must be certified in Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid, with the ability to make quick decisions in emergency scenarios. This is a part-time position with scheduled hours.

Qualifications

• Certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid or equivalent.
• Ability to make good decisions in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of water hazards, lifesaving techniques, and first aid.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe swimming environment by enforcing rules and policies.
• Perform water rescues, including back boarding, passive and active rescues.
• Perform CPR, ventilations, and first aid.
• Enforce rules and regulations designed for safe use of the Aquatic Center.
• Complete accident and incident reports.
