Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS seeks a day shift, full-time Laboratory Coordinator certified to oversee quality assurance, performance improvement, laboratory education, and proficiency testing.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or Physical Science, an ASCP or equivalent credential, and current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques; an Associate’s degree is acceptable if certified; 5+ years of clinical lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or Physical Science is required.
• Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician is required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification is required.
• Certification must be maintained without lapse during employment.
• If certification lapses, job will be downgraded until certification is reinstated.
• Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles.
