Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet seeks a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to assist in scrubbing procedures and monitoring data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. The role ensures the lab is prepared and supports instrument and supply readiness.

Under physician direction, you will participate in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, contribute to staff meetings, performance improvement, and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure are required.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
• Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
