Job summary

Advocate Health's Sterile Processing Services department at Cabarrus is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and operate sterilization equipment, prepare and label instrumentation, and ensure safety and quality throughout the processing workflow.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CSPDT or CRCST certification. The schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating weekends/holidays; paid benefits apply for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety standards.
• Identifies, responds & reports malfunctions and/or alarms.
• Performs efficacy and quality testing for all processes and equipment.
• Performs high temperature steam sterilization and low temperature sterilization methods.
