The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University\'s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities

• Group exercise instructors inspire, motivate, and create and deliver effective and safe group exercise classes in a professional and friendly atmosphere for class participants with varying fitness levels. Openings include general group exercise and fitness classes, as well as specialty class formats (i.e., indoor cycle, cardio dance, strength/conditioning).

Qualifications

• Accredited group exercise/fitness instructor certification (i.e., AFAA, ACE, ACSM, Schwinn)
• Group exercise instruction experience
• Demonstrated ability to teach in a group setting by passing an audition
• Adult CPR & AED certification
