Job summary

West Chester Area School District is seeking certified teachers to provide Homebound, 504 or Instruction in the Home tutoring for the 2026/2027 school year. Tutors will work one-on-one with students who cannot attend school, either in the home or virtually via Zoom, with hours possible during or outside the contracted day.

Pay is per board policy for up to 5 hours per week over a 6-week timeframe, requiring certification and curriculum familiarity.

Qualifications

• Tutors must be certified teachers familiar with the curriculum.
• Sessions are with individual students unable to attend school.
• Tutoring may be in-person at the student’s home or virtual on Zoom.
• Hours may occur during the contracted day or outside it.
• Rate of pay is per board policy for up to 5 hours per week, for up to 6 weeks.
