Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for recurring shifts in the Monroe area. You will provide dignified in-home care, following a nurse's written plan and focusing on safety, independence, and compassionate support for adults at home.

The role requires at least one year of experience, current CNA certification, and a genuine passion for caregiving. Travel to clients' homes is expected, and BAYADA offers training, flexibility, and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per written plan by a nurse.

• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs.

Shift details:

• Mondays and Wednesdays (4pm - 8pm)
• Saturdays and Sundays (8am - 8pm)

While you support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, we’ll support you with training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to creating a great employee experience.

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

• Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
