Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a CNA to provide in-home, one-on-one care across assigned client visits in the Seven Springs and Pikeville areas. You will follow a nurse’s plan of care to support daily living activities, meal prep, and vital sign checks in private homes.

The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care with strong emphasis on client dignity, safety, and independence, while offering training, flexibility, and team support.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Completed a recognized CNA training course and certified to work as a CNA.
• Passion for caregiving and helping others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Delivery of patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability - The BAYADA Way.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care as per plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Support with range of motion/exercises and ambulation.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor vital signs.

We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following area:

• Seven Springs
• Pikeville

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
