Weis Markets is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support central fill operations in a fast-paced setting. You will assist pharmacists with accurate prescription fulfillment and operate dispensing systems with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities include inventory replenishment, verification of identifiers, and maintaining a clean work environment. The role requires a High School Diploma and an active National Certified Technician credential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active National Certified Technician status is required.
• Ability to operate pharmacy dispensing systems accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate manual prescription fulfillment under pharmacist supervision.
• Support dispensing automation to maintain workflow.
• Verify identifiers (NDC, size, strength) before processing.
• Replenish medications in automated cells and perform FIFO inventory.
• Prepare packages for distribution to patients or local pharmacies.
• Process incoming drug orders and manage inventory in storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts, recalls, and expired meds.
• Maintain knowledge of central fill systems and equipment.
• Document prescription information and expiration/lot numbers as needed.
• Prepare Specialty Pharmacy medications for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
