Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Holds a national certification (PTCB/PTCE or NHA ExCPT).
• Registered on the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Process prescriptions including counting, bottling, labeling, and dosing.
• Enter prescription data and verify accuracy in computer systems.
• Manage inventory and stock medication.
• Answer calls and handle customer queries for pharmacists.
• Process insurance claims and payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
• Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support clinical services and education within community pharmacy.
