Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for part-time and PRN per department needs. The technician will assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and delivering medications for inpatients and outpatients, including IV preparations.

The role requires a CPhT or EXCPT certification, a high school diploma, and prior hospital experience; Pyxis experience is preferred. Flexible, rotating shifts with on-site work and a supportive team environment offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing (CPhT or EXCPT) required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital experience required.
• Preferred: Experience with Pyxis.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications for inpatients and outpatients.
• Maintain IV room workflow, deliver IVs and process IV returns.
• Charge medications, fill Pyxis Medstations and manage inventory.
