We're looking for certified home health aides and personal care assistants in the Manhattan area to provide essential care at the heart of our clients' well-being. As a home health aide with Premier, you will deliver exceptional care that helps our clients stay safe and comfortable at home. Join us and be part of a national leader in home care!

Duties

1. Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and well-being.
3. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
4. Monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns to medical staff.
5. Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties
• Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent
• Basic literacy and arithmetic skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
