HomeWorks, a division of United Methodist Communities, is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for per diem shifts in Northern New Jersey. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $30.75 per hour, with shifts available day, evening, or night.

Qualifications

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow care plans and report changes

Responsabilités

• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Prepare meals, help with feeding, and do light housekeeping
• Check vital signs and report changes to the nurse
• Remind clients to take their medications on time
• Drive clients to appointments and errands
• Keep clients company and engaged

About the Division
UMC HomeWorks is the home care agency of United Methodist Communities, a New Jersey nonprofit that has served older adults for more than 100 years. Our CHHAs play an essential role in helping seniors across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties stay safe and independent in their own homes, working one on one with each client and backed by our nursing team.

What you'll do

• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom

What you'll need

Required:

Pay and benefits

• $20.00 to $30.75 per hour, depending on shift and day of week
• Mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits
• $500 referral bonus for every CHHA you refer who gets hired
