Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for per diem shifts in New Jersey. Earn $20.00 to $30.75 per hour, with mileage reimbursement between client visits and paid training. Choose day, evening, or night shifts and receive a prompt response within 48 hours.

You will care for seniors one-on-one in their homes, supported by our nursing team, with a strong emphasis on safety, independence, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification.
• 18 or older.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow care plans and report changes to the nurse.

Responsibilities

• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Prepare meals, help with feeding, and do light housekeeping.
• Check vital signs and tell the nurse about any changes.
• Remind clients to take their medications on time.
• Drive clients to appointments and errands.
• Keep clients company and engaged.

Earn $20.00 to $30.75 an hour as a per diem CHHA. You choose your shifts: days, evenings, or nights. You get paid mileage between visits and paid training, and you'll hear back from us within 48 hours.

Who you'll care for

Seniors in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, or Warren counties who want to stay safe and independent in their own homes. You'll work one on one with each client, backed by our nursing team.
