Job summary

HomeWorks is seeking Certified Home Health Aides to join our Northern New Jersey team. This per diem role offers flexible day, evening, or night shifts and compensation ranging from $20 to $30.75 per hour, depending on the shift, client, and day of week.

You will work closely with clients in their homes, supported by a nursing team, and help them stay safe and independent. Requirements include active New Jersey CHHA certification, being 18+, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow care plans.

About the Division
UMC HomeWorks is the home care agency of United Methodist Communities, a New Jersey nonprofit that has served older adults for more than 100 years. Our CHHAs play an essential role in helping seniors across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties stay safe and independent in their own homes, working one on one with each client and backed by our nursing team.

What you'll do

What you'll need

Required:

Pay and benefits

• $20.00 to $30.75 per hour, depending on shift and day of week
• Mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits
