Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care under RN supervision in California. This per diem role pays $30–$40 per visit, with a flexible schedule and potential to convert to full-time based on performance.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, vital signs, and medication self-management, maintain safety and documentation, and work independently while delivering high-quality, patient-centered support.

Qualifications

• Californian CHHA certificate required.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill or frail.
• Professional, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities per the care plan.
• Support meals — from preparation to feeding assistance.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Help patients with medication self-administration.
• Keep the patient’s living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe patients and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Document care provided in accordance with standards.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.

• A Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate
