Job summary

CareOne in Moorestown, New Jersey, is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support residents in Harmony Village. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition, vital signs, and medication reminders under hospice guidance, ensuring comfort and safety.

The role requires a CHHA license, HS diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to travel. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, providing competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within the CareOne

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified CHHA license.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• No experience necessary but 1 year preferred.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with ADL activities including hygiene, grooming, skin care and nails.
• Assist with toileting, transfers, positioning and turning of bed-bound residents.
• Assist with ROM exercises as taught by Hospice Nurse.
• Support light housekeeping of the resident's unit and laundry as needed.
• Feed and assist with meals; monitor temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Report changes to Hospice Nurse and facility nurse, document accordingly.
• Assist or remind medications in compliance with regulations.

Harmony Village at CareOne Stanwick Road

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Provides assistance in toileting; positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
• Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen, if needed and patient laundry.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Obtains temperature, pulse and respirations as supervised by the Hospice Nurse.
• Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Hospice Nurse and, if in a facility, to the facility nurse and documents the information on the Home Health Aide Certification of House form, including the date and time of the report and the person receiving the information.
• Assists or reminds the patient to take medication, in compliance with regulations of appropriate regulatory and accrediting bodies.
