Job summary

Premier Home Health Providers is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to bring hands-on support into patients' homes under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily personal care, comfort, and safety in a home setting.

This per diem role offers a pay rate of $30–$40 per visit. Ideal candidates will have a California CHHA certificate, CPR (AHA), a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently while documenting care accurately.

Qualifications

• Californian CHHA certificate is required.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill or frail.
• Professional, tactful, and attentive to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities per the care plan.
• Support patients with meals—from preparation to feeding assistance when needed.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.
• Help patients with medication self-administration.
• Keep the patient’s living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe patients and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Document care provided in accordance with organizational standards.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
