Job summary

Eminence Home Care is hiring a Home Health Aide to assist clients in New Jersey with daily living activities, mobility support and companionship. You will administer medications as prescribed and help with meals and light housekeeping while following detailed care plans from healthcare professionals.

We value empathy, reliability, and excellent communication. Must have CHHA certification, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to serve clients in the community.

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and help facilitate physical activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel valued and respected.
• Administer medications as prescribed and keep track of clients’ health status.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and other household needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare team.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA).
• Experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a genuine commitment to providing quality care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
