Qualifications

• Associate's degree (or equivalent) with chemistry and biology coursework (12 hours) or histology program.
• ASCP-HT certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists is required.
• One year of histology laboratory experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special paraffin sections for microscopic examination.
• Conduct histochemical and immunohistochemical tests for diagnosing tissue conditions.
• Handle, prepare, and evaluate nerves, muscles, frozen sections, kidneys; prepare DIF specimens.

Associate's degree (or equivalent credit hours) including 12 hours of chemistry and biology
