Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to join the outpatient hand therapy program. You will evaluate and treat upper extremity conditions, collaborate with hand surgeons, and contribute to professional growth within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy certification/license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• Current state license.
• Current Hand Therapist Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct evidence-based treatment of upper quarter disorders (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder girdle, cervical area) to restore function.
• Develop and progress plan of care to meet patient needs and return to prior function.
• Must be a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and pass certification before onboarding.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to department and hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
