Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) for our outpatient clinic in West Hartford, CT. The role evaluates hand and upper-extremity function, designs individualized treatment plans, and delivers care to promote healing of complex shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions.

The ideal candidate has outpatient OT experience, with CHT preferred; CT licensure and NBCOT certification are required, and ACOTE-accredited education is expected.

Qualifications

• Outpatient hand therapy experience required.
• CHT preferred or board-certified if available.
• CT OT license and NBCOT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Upon referral, performs thorough examination and evaluation of upper extremity function.
• Deliver therapeutic techniques appropriate to patient’s needs and medical status.
• Implement and delegate patient care; fabricate upper-extremity orthoses as required.

Education

Bachelor/Master/Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
