Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient team at the Scripps Jefferson Clinic in Oceanside, CA. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The therapist will evaluate patient function, establish care plans, and reassess progress for outpatient hand therapy patients. In addition to a rewarding clinical role, new hire incentives include $4,000 and an $8,000 relocation bonus for moves over 100 miles.

Qualifications

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred.
• Experience in outpatient hand therapy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient function to determine plan of care for outpatient hand therapy.

We invite you to join our Orthopedic Surgery department as a Certified Hand Therapist. You will work in our outpatient clinic and partner with our other Certified Hand Therapist on a wide variety of cases. The ideal candidate is confident in their skills and is passionate about their work and excited to become an integral member of our team.

The Certified Hand Therapist evaluates and assesses patient function or ability, including establishing a plan of care according to standards of practice. They perform reassessment relative to the initial evaluation and modify the plan of care as needed with outpatient hand therapy patients.

*$4K New Hire Incentive and $8K relocation bonus if moving from 100+ miles.
