Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or a therapist preparing for CHT certification to join our hand therapy team. The role involves advanced hand/upper-extremity therapy, mentoring, and potential coverage at other locations.

Responsibilities include clinical reasoning, splinting, and evidence-based practice with opportunities for internal CE funding and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• State Occupational Therapist license required.
• 3–5 years of occupational therapy experience in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapy services including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
• Supervise and mentor other occupational therapists to ensure high-quality care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and social workers; maintain progress records.
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
