Job summary

Idaho Hand Center is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our expert therapy team in Idaho. This part-time, permanent-hire role offers mentorship toward CHT certification and opportunities for professional growth.

You will provide upper-extremity rehab, post-operative and conservative care, splinting/orthotics including Exos, and ergonomic consultation under physician direction in a collaborative setting focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat upper-extremity conditions and injuries.

About the Role:

You’ll provide expert therapy services under the direction of referring physicians, including post-operative rehab, conservative care, splinting/orthotic fabrication (including Exos), and ergonomic consultation. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to patient-centered care every step of the way.

Are you looking for mentorship to become a CHT? This part-time, permanent-hire opportunity includes direct supervision and guidance under a certified hand therapist so you can gain the clinical hours and confidence needed to achieve certification.

Mentorship for New Graduates Includes:

• A personalized CHT test preparation rubric to guide you from start to finish - at your own pace.
• Assignment of a dedicated CHT mentor for support, training, and guidance.
• Progressive caseload: Start with lower-complexity patients and gradually move to advanced cases requiring custom splinting and complex care.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist with current Idaho licensure (required).
• NPI number (required).
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred - or motivated to pursue certification.
