Are you a passionate and skilled Certified Hand Therapist — or working toward becoming one — who’s ready to make a real difference in patients’ lives? Idaho Hand Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our specialized team focused on the hand, wrist, and elbow.
Whether you’re a seasoned CHT or an occupational therapist working toward certification, we offer a supportive and structured environment to help you grow professionally.
About the Role:
You’ll provide expert therapy services under the direction of referring physicians, including post-operative rehab, conservative care, splinting/orthotic fabrication (including Exos), and ergonomic consultation. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to patient-centered care every step of the way.

Are you looking for mentorship to become a CHT? This part-time, permanent-hire opportunity includes direct supervision and guidance under a certified hand therapist so you can gain the clinical hours and confidence needed to achieve certification.
Mentorship for New Graduates Includes:
A personalized CHT test preparation rubric to guide you from start to finish—at your own pace.
Assignment of a dedicated CHT mentor for support, training, and guidance.
Progressive caseload: Start with lower-complexity patients and gradually move to advanced cases requiring custom splinting and complex care.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity conditions and injuries.
Create individualized treatment plans and revise based on patient progress.
Fabricate custom splints/orthotics and provide wound care as needed.
Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and equipment.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation and billing.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
Contribute to developing treatment protocols and patient education materials.
Maintain a clean, HIPAA-compliant workspace and uphold clinic policies.

Qualifications:
Occupational Therapist with current Idaho licensure (required).
NPI number (required).
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred — or motivated to pursue certification.
Training in orthotic/splint fabrication, including Exos.
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional development.
