Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PA Teacher Certification in Math required.
• Clearances and trainings listed by PA Department requirements (Arrest/Conviction Report, PA State Police Clearance, Federal Criminal History Clearance).
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training and related clearances required (Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, Act 126, Act 151, Act 168).
• Tuberculosis Test/Physical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration
